At St. Amon's University, students are required to adhere to a strict honor code that forces the victims of abuse into silence. When Celeste becomes a victim of a serial abuser, she is forced into silence along with anybody else who knows the truth. A Sharp and Infectious Silence is a play about finding justice in an environment of privilege, breaking the silence, and how rigid standards can enable serial abusers.
